This luscious has a delightful combination of flavours. The tartness of the apples is balanced by the sweet taste of the caramel sauce. The shortcrust pastry provides a sweet and crumbly texture that complements the softness of the apples.
We use tart Bramley apples for our pies. They keep some of their bite once cooked which creates a lovely texture.
We use our signature shortcrust pastry for Apple Caramel Pie. We hand fill our pies with apple filling and then coat the apples with rich and sweet caramel, allowing all the flavours to blend together.
All our pies are baked so they are ready to eat when they arrive.
This pie can be enjoyed warm, with the caramel sauce oozing out and creating a deliciously gooey filling. It can be served on its own or paired with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream to add a touch of creaminess.
